Plein Air Painting In France

In June 2005 Mike Svob and Bob Rennie had the pleasure to take 15 wonderful folks to France. They began in Paris, taking in the sights of this wonderful city. They observed the great works of art in the d'Orsay and Louvre museums. Then it was off to Provence. They set up their easels in the French countryside, amidst the lavender fields, vineyards, olive groves and charming stone villages. Once home to Vincent Van Gogh, they also spent time in the city of Arles and enjoyed its large Provencal market. The weather was warm and sunny making it ideal for outdoor painting. These are some of the images from this inspiring adventure.
